A message from the President of CCYP:
 
As you are considering becoming a part of the governing body of an organization that is a vital part of our communities growth and the stabily of our future I wanted to take the time to welcome you.  Our founding members began the tradtion of elections to allow members of our organization to select by majority the Board of Directors who will represent them.  Your nomination either by a board member, member or even self selection is a true testament to your commitment to our community and young professionals.  CCYP has much to offer our community and can accomplish much through its volunteer board of directors.  YOU are the key to the growth and success of this organization and the community is which it serves.  YOU have made the choice to live and work in Charlotte County and must ask yourself what level of commitment you have to the place that you call home.  My answer is simple.....I live and work here, and I want other people my age, with similar interests living here as well.  The only way that is going to happen is through your help and with the organization of the CCYP.  I WANT to be engaged in my community and I hope you do too.  Take the time to visit our website and view the positions that are open for election in July 2010.  I hope to see many of you tonight at 5:30pm at Calusa National Bank in Punta Gorda for our June Board of Directors Meeting as our guests.  If you have questions or to request a copy of the board member position descriptions please do not hesitate to contact any of our board members or myself at michael@ccyp.info or 941-268-7918
